The so-called Brazilian Butt Lift combines liposculpture of the waist and back with transfer of your own fat to the buttocks. The result is a more harmonious silhouette without implants.
Safety comes first: the fat is placed in the subcutaneous plane using guided technique, following the most recent international recommendations for this procedure. Trained in Rio de Janeiro, where this surgery was born, Dr. Yolotzin performs it with a focus on proportion, not excess.
Part of the transferred fat is naturally reabsorbed in the first weeks; the surgical plan accounts for this so the final result is the one expected.

General information so you arrive at your consultation with the right questions. Your plan is defined at your consultation.
Technique
Liposculpture of the waist, lower back and abdomen to harvest the fat and, at the same time, shape the silhouette.
Processing of the fat and transfer in thin layers within the subcutaneous tissue, never into the muscle, following current safety guidelines.
Ultrasound guidance to control the depth of the cannula.
Aftercare
No sitting directly on the buttocks for the first 2 to 3 weeks; special cushion under the thighs.
Sleep face down or on your side.
Compression garment and lymphatic drainage for the liposuction areas.
Stable weight: transferred fat behaves like the fat in the rest of your body.
Results and how long they last
Between 60 and 80% of the transferred fat integrates. The final volume shows around the third month, once the swelling has gone down.
Risks and how we reduce them
Fat transfer to the buttocks demands strict technique: subcutaneous injection only and ultrasound guidance. Risks: partial reabsorption, asymmetry, seromas and, with incorrect technique, fat embolism. That is why safety comes before volume.
