Facial Feminization

A set of procedures that soften the features we read as masculine: reduction of the brow ridge, brow lift, rhinoplasty, jaw and chin reduction, and fillers in the cheekbones and lips. It is planned in stages according to your face.

Facial Feminization: Forehead, nose, jaw and chin with feminine features

How it works

There is no standard facial feminization: we analyze which features carry the most weight in your face (forehead, nose, jaw) and prioritize what brings the most change with the least amount of surgery.

The stages can be combined in one operation or divided. We work in a certified hospital, with the CETRANS team, and with a clear recovery plan from the start.

Is it for me?

  • Trans women and non-binary people seeking more feminine facial features.
  • Anyone who wants a plan by stages and priorities, not a package.
  • Patients with or without hormone therapy, depending on assessment.

What you should know

How it's done, how to care for it and what to expect.

General information so you arrive at your consultation with the right questions. Your plan is defined at your consultation.

Technique

  • Reshaping of the brow ridge and brow lift.
  • Feminizing rhinoplasty (straight or slightly concave bridge, finer tip).
  • Reduction of the jaw angle and genioplasty (chin surgery); fillers in the cheekbones and lips.

Aftercare

  • Head elevated and soft diet during the first week.
  • No intense exercise for one month.
  • Sun protection and care of the scars along the hairline.

Results and how long they last

Visible change from the first month; final result between 6 and 12 months once all the swelling goes down.

Risks and how we reduce them

Temporary numbness of the forehead or chin, asymmetry and the risks specific to each procedure, which are explained in detail before deciding.
